It is going to be a great fucking year. I just know it. I spent the night with friends and had fun. No, we did not get drunk, but had a good time none the less. I am so looking forward to this new year, because there is so much happening. We have elections for a new president, the end of a war and we get to watch the whack-a-doos go off about the world ending. As far as I am concerned it is a win, win situation. Unless Obama get re-elected. Then I would have to agree with the whack-a-doo’s that we are better off with the end of the world then another four years of this shithead.

Suffice it to say, I am going to live life to the fullest, that way no matter what happens, it will still have been a great year.  I hope that we don’t get as many of mother natures temper tantrums though, because last years were rather nasty. Anyway, so far so good. I think perhaps I will get some munchies and watch the New Years parades and football games today. Slouching around the house in my pj’s and slippers, is a great way to start the year. Totally Relaxed.

Well, I was at this restaurant with my family and this cocksucker at the table next to us was on his damn cellphone, just yelling and having a big fight with someone. He disrupted the entire restaurant with his tirade over some stupid assed shit. Apparently, he had some work done on his car and they took too long to do the work or something like that. He was waiting to get it back and they still weren’t finished with whatever he wanted done. Okay, dude. Let me explain to you that going off in a restaurant, in front of families with children and such, is not the way to handle your problems.

I really can only say that people just have no manners anymore. Just because you opened the door for your wife/girlfriend when you came into the restaurant doesn’t mean that you can now forgo acting properly for the duration of your time inside. There are other people trying to enjoy their dinners and and company of the people they are eating with. So if you get a phone call when you are out to eat, either don’t answer it or take it outside. have a little common courtesy for the rest of us.

So I bought some new shit for myself. A brand new set of luggage for my trip. Okay, brand new to me. They are awesome and so very expensive, but totally worth it. Of course I didn’t pay the actual full price for a PRADA luggage set. The women in my family are going to be so very jealous, but I don’t care. They are more then welcome to go shopping in the thrift stores like I do. That is how I find so much unbelievable stuff that is couture and I pay a fraction of the original cost. I am stylish and it doesn’t break me to look that way.

I have found that even Goodwill Stores in a upscale neighborhood is a valuable source for name brand items. You wouldn’t believe how many people give away clothing to Goodwill that has never been worn and still have the original tags on them. It is amazing. I found a pair of Baby Phat sneakers for eight dollars at goodwill, and they are in pristine condition. I can’t wait till tax season. I think I will get me a whole new wardrobe just by thrift store shopping. Have a great day !

I just realized that I do not have to deal with all the fucking holiday shopping crowds this year since I am going out of town. However, that means I need to get started with the online shopping so that the packages arrive in time for Christmas. There are a few online stores that are really good about getting the packages out quickly. I love shopping through Amazon.com, Overstock and of course Ebay is still a good source for shopping. The products are usually shipped right away with little to no fuss. Of course snail mail is always a bit slower during the holiday season, but most people use UPS and FedEx now that it’s really not as bad as it used to be.

I have to make my list of who I have to buy for and what I am getting them. I have a fairly decent idea for most everybody, but not all of them. Since I am traveling home for the Holidays there are going to be more people to buy for but that is okay, since I haven’t seen that part of the family in so very long. So there you have it, and now it is time to make my lists and get to shopping. Talk to you later.

I just booked my ticket to go back home and visit the family and the fucking airline prices are ridiculous. You would not believe the prices now a days and  unless you are a frequent flyer getting a good deal is almost impossible. The first rule of thumb, book at least two weeks ahead, but it is even better if you know you are going to travel that you watch for months what deals they have going. Honestly, it’s not really that hard to check every now and then the prices and sales. Know what dates you are departing and coming back way in advance if you can.

Check with the airlines themselves not just with third party travel agency’s or online websites. Sometime you can get a better deal by going directly to the airline itself. If you have a unexpected trip, such as mine, good luck because you are going to need it. Hopefully though you will have at least two weeks notice to handle it, otherwise you are screwed. I was able to get my tickets to Jacksonville from Nashville and back for about three hundred dollars round trip. That is a very good price and it is with South West Airlines, who are relatively cheap compared to the rest of them.
